Louis spent  5 years in I.T Recruitment and also 25 years directly within in I.T. He has created a course that uses the techniques that a Project Manager has to adopt in order to recruit for project teams. The course also opens up this industry to the student provide a platform from which to understand  their chosen industry.

Background of the trainer

Louis started his I.T. career over 30 years ago as a Data Control Clark  at the Banque National De Paris and was then promoted to the role of a Mainframe Computer Operator. After Graduating from North East London Polytechnic in Computer Studies he took up the position of a Business Analyst designing systems for the newly introduced PC and managed bespoke systems application developers. He has also been on two fulltime Government sponsored training programs to meet the demands of then the fast changing computer world. One was Micro Sales and Marketing learning how to bring the PC into the business world and another when the Internet was emerging taking off on HTML and web design where he also became a Principle Certified Lotus Professional (PCLP). From this background he entered the world of development and e-commerce. He has designed and built many systems from end to end. Louis has spent 20 years as an I.T. contractor in companies such as HBoS, Orange, Carphone Warehouse, Scottish Widows, Deutsche Bank, Royal Liver Assurance, Booker and many more. He was asked to join Computer People the then leader in I.T. contract recruitment, to help open up the Scottish Market and later moved to Computer Search and Selection as a I.T. Contracts Manager where he was always in the 100% club.

This experience along with the rise of the internet lead him to develop the first internet recruitment system, CV-Online, based on the I.T recruitment work flow.

Having spent 15 years in I.T. management roles ,which involved having to recruit many staff for projects , he now feels that its time this industry had specialist training to help managers get the right people quickly by improving the ability of the I.T. Recruitment Consultants to understand clearly the requirements and pre screen the candidates better.
